Naturopathy
Naturopathy is a system of alternative medicine based on the theory that diseases can be successfully treated or prevented without the use of drugs or chemical medicines. Alternative techniques improve the health of the blood. Healthy blood supplies increased oxygen to the organs of the body. Oxygen cleanses toxins from the organs so that they can perform their functions optimally. Oxygen also serves to fight against illness.
His Footsteps offers Naturopathy Health services including consultations, heat treatments, herbal remedies made by a Naturopath and dietary guidance.
Organic vegetable and herb gardens are encouraged. Guidance on how to make Whole foods such as sourdough baked goods, home- made ice cream, milk shakes and pizza is given.
His Footsteps recognises the body’s own ability to regain and maintain health. (UWC)
Nutritional science has outlined the importance of avoidance of eating of certain foods in order to avoid the painful and unavoidable consequences of sickness and disease. Animals that are forbidden to be eaten are largely “unclean feeders”. A large number of diseases to which animals are liable, are due to the presence of low forms of parasitic life in their blood stream because animals are unclean in their feeding, Many of these parasitic diseases are common to both animals and men and may be communicated from the former to the latter (for example: Trichinae in swine and Diphtheria in turkeys and Glanders in horses). It is in the blood that the germs and spores of infectious disease circulate.
The Bible tells us that man was created to be a vegetarian (Genesis 1: 29) “and God said, see, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth and every tree whose fruit yields seed, to you it shall be for food”
